Hypercrites.org SMF 1.1.11 and [url=http://www.hypercrites.org/Board/index.php]Hypercrites Flipside 2.0 RC2, not about a whole lot these days since Ardd disappeared. Originally artsy-arcadey-political. The 1.1.11 version has become a playground for spammer hackers, and it's good for a study on them. Flipside has the Portal and seems to (so far) be spammer hacker immune (knock on wood).

I have to amend this statement about hacker registrants and the portal. Went on vacation for a week only to find a few made it in (those that post spam links in their sigs). The one running 1.1.11 got hit harder, though. I recognize a couple of folks from here, but some I'm still not sure of. Got the banhammer out and in the event anybody here got inadvertently banned if I mistook you for a spammer, please PM me here and I'll fix it.

I have built multilingual CMS. All content was stored in a database, with main tables for common (not language specific values) and separate tables for the language specific content.

For instance, let us imagine storing products - we have a 'products' table (contains unique_id, date created, image urls etc etc) and a 'product_local' table (contains any language specific fields).

Using this method it is very easy to maintain content.Bryn

At least the MyBB site is in good shape lol, I like how it looks.

Makes me ashamed at how the SMF site looks currently with its display bugs/glitches, and the fact the team doesn't seem to even care about it. (Sigh) I mentioned it at one time, and it was responded by Sleepy that "it could be done in a day". Guess what happened? Nuthin' so far.

Even small fixes would be better than what it is now: a weak promise of a site update that none has seen a demo of + "lots of improvements" from the Cuz lead on the download/themes/mods site that don't have any previews or (seemingly) any designers working on it. Inspiring it is NOT.

Speaking of projects that are actively developed, MyBB 1.6 recently came out, looks sweet. Wonder if MyBB will make it to a 2.0 final before SMF can? 

I've been considering migrating my SMF forum over. Only reason not to do it now is because of inertia and familiarity.
